ISO 13485:2003 specifies a comprehensive and demanding quality management system for the manufacture of medical devices, guaranteeing Saline Lectronics meets necessary regulatory requirements for medical PCB assembly. It supplements ISO 9001:2000 by providing additional regulatory requirements for the medical industry in the areas of design and process controls, special processes, traceability, record retention, and regulatory actions. For a medical PCB manufacturer, it demonstrates superior quality and reliability. Forward-thinking companies that implement this system take a world-class approach toward ensuring patient safety during the manufacture of items like medical and laboratory equipment, biomedical analytic instrumentation, and implantable devices. It enables them to enter and a competitive edge in the global market. Certified ISO 13485:2003, Saline Lectronics is a leader in its industry for the manufacturing of medical circuit boards.
- ISO 9001:2000 Certified

-
The most widely recognized standard is the ISO 9000 series, a basic quality management system that can be used in industries of any size, anywhere in the world. Registration to ISO 9001:2000 (or other quality standard) provides objective proof that a business has implemented an effective quality management system, and that it satisfies all of the requirements of the applicable standard. An external, impartial expert called a registrar conducts an on-site audit to determine whether or not a company is in conformance to the standard. If they are found to be in conformance, they will be issued a certificate showing their address, scope of operations and the seals of the accreditation bodies that give the registrar its legitimacy.
